[sdiy] Ribbon Controllers.

Hi all,
It comes up every now and again on the list, but i wanted to check what is
out there and that i haven't missed something.

I'm wanting to put a ribbon controller on my midi keyboard, (basicly
attach the ribbon as part of a voltage divider network and hook it into an
avr ADC input which will then generate my MIDI signals)
Ideally, i'd like to be able to do the 'dual note' trick as discussed
here:
http://www.paia.com/ProdArticles/dual-ribbon-howto.htm

The only two ribbons i've be able to find that are long enough are:
Slide Long V1.1
http://infusionsystems.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/52

Position (30cm)
http://www.eowave.com/products.php?prod=21

Price wise they're pretty similar, however, neither of them definitivly
states if it is wired in a way that would be suitable to do the 'dual
tracking' technique. (IE, a terminal at each end and then a third one as
the wiper contact).

Does anyone have any experience with either of those two products, or can
they recomend a different part? for the ribbon im looking for somethig in
the 20-40cm lengh range.

Thanks for reading and any comments.

Cheers,
Alwyn
