Do you know of any DIY-friendly ARM9E parts outside of the STR9  
family? Everything else that I see at Digi-Key is BGA package. Coming  
up though NXP just announced the ARM9-based LPC291x series with  
ARM968E core, an 80MHz clock, true TCMs and a _lot_ of flash so they  
could run a fair RTOS. $12 in single qty at Digi-Key, but 0 in stock  
for now.
