I don't know about the Deltalab, but if it's a BBD, wouldn't you just
have to divide down the clocking signal and send to the LED?

If it's a real digital delay with a RAM chip, perhaps you could use
the most significant address pin as a trigger?

The LFO is not used directly for changing the delay length, so it is
not relevant.
