--Pink noise is most useful in audio analysers--for electronic music it is
not really a big deal.
Any 1 to 4 pole LP or BP filter connected to a noise source is going to
produce far more interesting results.
I have seen a 3dB filter design however. It may have been in the Audio
Handbook produced by National Semi years (and years) ago.
