It would be possible to adapt the circuit for about any kind of inductors -
but as it is, it's optimized to take into account the specific parasitics of
a certain brand of inductors:

I *will* make a BOM available for this eventually, which should make things
clear. And I'm even talking to someone who *might* (might! - no promises!)
offer "official" kits for this, which should make things a lot easier for
many of us.
Right now, I'm so deep into handling String Filter shipping, that the
Scanner stuff onlw has 2nd priority.
The only reason why I've started taking orders for the Scanner now, is to
avoid someone misiing the preorder window during holidays season.
You'll all have a lot of time to get components for this.

What type of inductors did you use? The schematic says only "33mH".
Would Conrad-Partno. 535567-13 fit mechanically?
