Oops... ; )

I ment pattern 16, not step 16.

You  cant change patterns in pattern write mode (but dont have to hit stop to change to pattern play, change pattern, and then back 
to write...)

Thinking about it though, i was still kinda right, as, if the last step was set to step one (as appears to be the case here) step 16 
would still not be selected : )
