Yes, and the overlap is such that the sum of all VCA gains is always
constant.

Yes, and you can also use an external CV instead of the LFO, or a
combiantion of external CV and LFO.

Yes: simply connect input 8 and input 9 together.
You can also normalize each input jacj to the previous one, and thus get any
number of inputs from 2 to 9.
