Read through all the web pages, just want to clarify how this operates...

The internal LFO, which has a voltage controlled speed, is used to step 
through the signals of the 9 inputs, outputting one of the signals at a 
time.

The unit doesn't switch the inputs on/off, but fades through them 
smoothly so that there is a slight overlap between, for example, 1-to-2, 
2-to-3, 3-to-4 and so on.

Is this correct? Is it possible to build the device such that only *8* 
inputs are used?
