Sad enough.

btw: the Axon system does not use the vertical and horizontal
string vibrations, but longitudinal(!) wave to make a first detection of 
the pitch and after that they do a standard base note detection. The 
recommend also built-into-bridge piezo hex pickups as the best solution 
(at least in 1998 when I tested it, there were some guitars, which 
provided that). As far as I know for pitch recognition their system is 
still the fastest.
