This sounds like a poly version of the Fernandes "Sustainiac" which
is in turn similar to the "E-bow" technology.
The thing that would make the moog guitar work is the hex piezo saddle
pickup, which could be used to give feedback that would not be influenced by
the magnetic fields. It might be possible to drive the strings from the
piezo, but I don't think so.
I also wonder if this will truly play like a 'guitar' or more like a synth.
The Yamaha guitar like controller worked fine but was not a guitar.
