[sdiy] Four-trace scope -- useful ?

I use scopes a lot - both two and four channel types.  I found the 4 ch scopes to be useful for digital or digital/analog  (mixed signal) work.  For pure analog, two channels have been sufficient almost all of the time (but not always).

My Tektronix 535A is acting up again and I may have to replace it.
How often do you need more than 2 traces for synth-diy and general
audio repair and tinkering ? Note that there may be some digital
circuits in my future...
