Take, for example, Doepfers A-111 CEM 3340 based VCO (there must be others, but that was one that sprang to mind) -
The CEM 3340 is almost certainly not RoHS complient. But whats the situation here?
Say if the item in question relies entirely on a NOS part that, whilst still available, does not comply with RoHS, and there is no
RoHS complient alternative?
Farnell, Rapid, etc are *still* selling off all their non-RoHS stock... Are the only people eligible to actually use this hobbyists
and the export market?
Im doubting that my understanding of the RoHS business is correct....
Can anyone enlighten me at all? : )
Thanks, Julian
