The other SDIYers might say otherwise, but my inclination would be to  
suggest to go ahead and ask here because of the particularly diverse  
knowledge base of this group. Depending on your question, someone  
might have a more synth-relevant way of explaining a basic topic, or  
they might know of a particularly clear tutorial, or they may have one  
particular beautiful explanation to offer that exists no where else in  
the universe.

And they are a wonderful, helpful bunch. SDIY is the best community on  
the internet that I've ever seen.
