you dont have to be so rude. i was just excited about getting some good control voltage into my modular. i thought someone might like to know that the xr datasheet had a good circuit to try. i AM aware of the roland guitars btw. but those are NOT diy. i am sorry if my F to V ramblings made you angry.

Uh, Yes I did, but nothing much.
 
I feel You feel it's simply about chips used and some interconnections
- maybe it IS?
