The Maplin Magazine was sold to Kanda, who after a while went bust  
(the company name lives on in another, unrelated, company).  The last  
editor was Paul Freeman-Sear, ex-ETI.  I got to know Paul a bit, and  
he published several of my projects.

As far as I know no-one owns the rights anymore.
