[sdiy] Moog VCF question

I was looking at the schematics of the MG-1 and the Rogue VCFs. They
are very similar and both run off of +12V (at the top). The main
difference between the two designs is the resistors on the "side" of
the schematic - running along the ladder.

In the Rogue, these resistors are 1k - but in the MG-1 these resistors
are 200 Ohm.

The (DC?) voltages up the ladder are the same (3.4, 5.4, 7.4, 9.4) in
both, so I assume that the resistors do something with current.

Any insight or comments on the electronic and sonic differences?
