Presumably you have a connector or solder pad to connect these 
components to the board, so you should make a component with the 
correct symbol (or just edit one that you like) and add 
a "package" with just the pin header, connector or simply a row 
of pads so that you won't forget to connect component and board.  
In 5.0 it should be much easier to copy components in libraries 
than it was in earlier versions...  I've always found it easier 
to make my own library of parts for each board, copied from a 
growing library that has all the parts I've ever used.
