Logan, list and everyone else

I didn't know that this would be forwarded to the public but okidoki :)

So the thought was to do a SDIY/Circuit bending event at our club (the Hexagon, www.hexagonspace.com - former lo-fi social club in baltimore), ultimately we wanted to have both SDIY and Circuit Bending artists - both in the electronics and music domain - present. As we have two rooms, one with a stage, we were hoping to maybe do SDIY/Circuit bending showroom in the day as well as some circuit bending workshops for the people that are new to this whole thing. The idea from my behalf is that the more people we can get to be intrested in SDIY the better, and what better/easier way to do it then with circuit bending? I was also hoping to put on music shows in the evening at the same location.

I have no idea of how these SDIY events normally work so please tell me if doing a combo of all of this does not seem like a good idea to anyone, furthermore i'd love to hear if people are interested in maybe coming so that i can make an estimate.

Our thought was to do it around september 13th as we then have an 8-bit festival which feels apropriate, so either friday september 12th or sunday september 14th. Which date is better?

Do realize that all of this is preliminary BUT that i will have to book this event pretty soon so if people would like to help me work out the details that'd be awesome.

Also if people want to help out with this event that'd be awesome, we're four guys running this place right now, all doing some kind of music DIY or hacking so if you're in the Baltimore area and interested in electronic and/or experimental music check out our venue.

Also tell me if i should take this off-list.

Karl
