Since I can get a good laptop for $600 now, and probably $500 in 6 months, these "stand alone" VST players are sort of past their point of usefulness. IMHO. OMAP chips are $60 in 100pcs and you will need a 10-layer pcb (minimum) to route it. Throw in additional stuff + case + power supply + user I/O and now it's a science project :) Paul S.
