[sdiy] intro to SDIY playshop: suggestions?

Hey...I liked the sound of the old Paia 2720 series VC bandpass filter. 
  It didn't have much tuning range...but, hey, it sounded...sorta nice. 
  Sometimes I keep thining I should build up some more of them...but 
then...well, maybe I do have better things to do with my life... ;^)
