Rotary woofer (was Re: [sdiy] Brain filling in fundamental)

Could this be modified so that a little compressor is generating cold  
air that is then being blown out of the cabinets ? Because with all  
these vintage synths there might be and incline of temperature in the  
engineering room. More like a multifunction sub-woofer and air  
conditioner  ? :)
