[sdiy] is there a yearly SYNTH DIY event in the U.S.?

For those in the mideast region, Logan Mitchell and Dave Vosh have set
up a "Baltimore SDIY" group that has had a couple of meetings and some
performances.  That's probably the closest group for a lot of folks.
It isn't an "event", but the meet-ups seem to be the biggest (and
only) for quite a distance... and it's growing

There's an email list set up for it: baltimore-sdiy-group at googlegroups.com
