[sdiy] is there a yearly SYNTH DIY event in the U.S.?

Well, here is the secret behind "finding" SDIY events!...

The one here in Southern California happened because I set it up.  For 
the Pacific Northwest one, again because John Marshall set it up.  You 
just need to find a more or less convenient place to hold it, and then 
post messages in the various forums, and low and behold...you should be 
able to have a fairly good turnout.
