You'll need 9VAC for bipolar 9VDC out, 12VAC for +/-12VDC and 15VAC for
+/-15VDC.
The question is: Do you absolutely need +/-15V? I've found 12VAC wall
warts to be fairly common (in the US), and many synth circuits will run on a
+/-12Vsupply. Just a thought....
