Remeber the ETI pannel is not as the synthi ones. The eti has simple shorting pins, with no resistance, which resticts the number
of pins on each line to supposedly one, but im sure you could get away with more.
If you were to buy a pannel now, it would be sensible to go for one of the Ghielmetti ones, as mentioned, rather than an ETI type
pannel. They come up very occasionally on ebay, still for quite a bit, but normally significantly cheaper then elsewhere... (not
always the case on ebay ; )
