Beware: some older plastics are urea / formaldehyde resins. Bio powders will
digest them Going back a long way, in the late 70's my mother once soaked
mys sister's Brownie Uniform in one of the Bios: the buttons all went mushy.

Another toy to look out for is a cheap ultrasonic cleaner. I bought one from
Aldi for £17.99. By filling it with a light solvent rather than water I have
had good results cleaning pots and open switches. I de-gunked some Moog MG1
parts, (from the dreaded foam-rot), that way.
