Hi Florian.

There was a fairly lengthy discussion regarding this on the list awhile
ago that you might be able to find in the archives.

If the phase of the harmonics is modulated over time, it is definitely
possible to hear a difference. For discussion of static phases, I think
everyone said pretty much what they wanted to say in the original
discussion.
