I'm glad to know that this works... Just got the Thomas Henry Electronic Drum Cookbook, so I may have to pair this sequencer up with that.

I agree, but I'm still going to put together a couple baby10s for vanilla sequencing.

Why not use 3 digital clocks set at different frequencies (inverting Schmitt Trigger oscilators for example or even 555C timers) or 4 in the case of the CD4067 to drive the binary word? I think it would make for an interestingly random and maybe musical sequencer. Just my two bits... I'm probably going to end up breadboarding it this weekend to see if it actually works.
