Hello all,
I've been poking through my CMOS cookbook and my brain came up with a thought... Odd, yes... I know Ray Wilson has a sequencer that uses a CD4051 paired with a CD4520 to step through the sequence. Why not use 3 digital clocks set at different frequencies (inverting Schmitt Trigger oscilators for example or even 555C timers) or 4 in the case of the CD4067 to drive the binary word? I think it would make for an interestingly random and maybe musical sequencer. Just my two bits... I'm probably going to end up breadboarding it this weekend to see if it actually works.
