Have you got the service manual for this thing?
As far as the aftertouch sensor:
it's a capacitance strip.
Two strips of copper foil with a piece of clear plastic between them.
Seems the strips are extremely oxidized.
Actually thinking now they may be yellow cause they oxidized - maybe
they're aluminium.
Either way, it's out of question to repair it. Gotta buy a new one.
