[sdiy] Clear panels

Hey Ian,
I've made a lot of control panels using clear plastic. Previously I
used lexan, and it was VERY easy to work with and drill. I wanted to
save some money so I used plexiglass more recently, and ended up
shattering a few panels.
So yeah, my advice is to give Lexan a try if you still find that your
step-up bit cracks panels.
