Apple switched from PowerPC to Intel, despite the screams of dismay
amongst apple addicts, it seems to have helped them move forward with new
products.

last time I looked at the TC Power core it was 4 * 56362 DSPs (IIRC).

agreed, I've seen/heard many 'analogue' monosynths that sound week and
feeble..

Yep, I agree, a single chip with a standard IO would be great. but I fear
we're a long way off that..

I did it because I had about 15 people asking for one.
Plus I wanted to give it a try, I've tried it, didn't like it... but I've
tried.
