Hi list,
Whilst Googling around, I stumbled across this newish (approx 6
months old) title:
'The Theory and Technique of Electronic Music' by Miller Puckette
http://www.worldscibooks.com/compsci/6277.html
>From the sample chapter it looks to be quite technical, and being in the
digital domain, of lesser interest to me, but others are likely to find it
useful.
Anyone own it, care to comment?
Tim
P.S. Great quote from the preface:
"Although the 'level' of mathematics is not high, the mathematics itself
is sometimes quite challenging. All sorts of cool mathematics is in the
reach
of any student of algebra or geometry."
If making mathematics 'cool' will encourage more to study it, I'm all for
it.
