Is there any chance, perhaps in the DISTANT future of a redesign using
super-cheap and readilly available BL3207's?

I can't remember if I've asked that before or not. I know that there was a
group buy of TDA1022's that I did not partake in because I was offline for a
while. But this suggests that TDA1022's could be tricky to get just on a
whim.

I guess I could make the offer to trade some MN3007's or MN3006's or R5106's
for some TDA1022's since I can always get those cheap just about whenever I
want.

Of course I think I can get similar functionality using the synth modules
I've either finished or am working on: VC quadrature function generator,
tri-phase LFO, VC BBD delay modules, and then the various CV mixers and VC
audio mixers, panners & crossfaders...

However, I like this thing being in one unit.

It's a very cool design.
