Hi Neil,

Thanks for the tip. I looked in the web page you told me and It mentioned the CDT (The C/C++ Development Tooling), but I was not sure if that is the standard GNU C compiler or not (the fact that the IDE and the debugger are free does not necessary imply that the compiler is also free), however here:

it says: 
"For those who need more functionality, a third-party supported C compiler plug-in is planned as an alternative to the standard GNU C compiler."

So it seems that the CDT is in fact the GNU C compiler.

If you go to the mentioned website and click on the link to "Symphony Studio Development Tools" it mentions something about Eclipse IDE, GDB, compilers, debuggers, and stuff.  Does that sound like what you're looking for?
