We used to do a lot of work "authorized" by a bunch of different 
manufacturers,  and among those was Marshall,  by way of Korg (Ptui!).  One 
time a customer came in with an amp that had microphonic tubes and on 
ordering some from Korg (Ptui!) we got some in that were both poorly packed 
(one indeed arrived broken) and just as bad as the ones that were originally 
in the amp.
