[sdiy] way OT (sry) tune 8 string steel guitar

Well.. I finally found some tunings.  The last time I looked was
probably 10 or more years ago, and only spent a few minutes looking
before I asked the question earlier.
I don't play the guitar, but it seems that the tuning is very much a
personal preference.  Even more so on guitars w/ extra strings.
So, I've got a few things to try.  If there is a tuning which would be
considered "standard" then please let me know.
