I built some years ago. They worked.
(I can't remember exactly WHICH ones, remember a voltage controlled
resonance control using a 3080 in a feedback loop.)

Note all old electronic music construction books will have many analog &
digital parts that no longer exist. The theory remains correct, of course.
Chamberlin certainly knows what he is writing about.
