Also, I was going to mention that the two examples exhibit what I was 
describing as "interference" (in the physics sense of getting a pattern 
of reinforcement and/or attenuation over time when you add the 
amplitudes of different waves) in the spectral view (the first one more 
so, but this one as well). Is there a preferred term for this in the 
audio world?
