*==+??

A sound that cannot be identified as acoustic or synthestic?
A nut for Hegel and Schopenhauer to crack! :-)

For instance the most synthetic sound i ever heard are a large whale signaling
under water. Its a perfect sine swept in a whiplash fashion with tons of long
and spacey reverberation to it (ocean water as reverb tank).
Also ice building in lakes are also very synthetic, i was out some days
ago on a lake here to record some, its very fascinating a bit scary to,
loud bangs, fizzels, swisches,blopp's and blipp's ,etc, and if you put
your ear down on the ice close to a build up of crystals it sounds like
a modular patched up into insanity.All kind of weird electronic sounds.
Stunning sound to say the least.

Basically you dont need a modular, thats for sure.

KD (my ears are a bit cold yes :)
