Two things:  The price of copper has been going crazy lately -- it's now 
costing the government about 1.8 cents to make a penny,  even with most of it 
being zinc these days.  And the dollar has been dropping in value like crazy 
as well,  relative to other currencies.

Nope,  but if you find some NOS someplace at a good price I'd be looking at 
1000' spools,  not 100'.
