Hey Dave,
The vibrato/chorusing sound is rather nice, but I can hear a distinct
"stepping" or clicking as the rotor moves from one set of plates to
another. This is especially evident as you slow the rotor down. Could
you possibly increase the cap values to reduce the clicking? At the
higher rotor speeds, I think this is a good part of the noise you're
hearing.
This is a fascinating project, and I can see why you're interested in
pursuing it, but I can't help thinking that the same effect could be
acheived much more easily with a good chorus unit. :-0
