Hmm, yes. Hmmm......hmmm......hmmm!

But what if a manufacturer would remove the round pin and place a flat pin
during spot velding to the poly foil then its just a matter of bending the 
leg outwards just as its done with a SMT elyt cap! The temp stress arent
any less becuse off a o.3mm of plastic layer, well one can still have the
cup and epoxy bottom.

Lots of regular TH components can be redone into SMT
