Hello,

I'm 33 and have been a systems programmer for a long time on various
flavors of unix (and coding since I was very young--around age 10 I
could write thousands of lines of 6502 assembly to make neat stuff). I
can play speed metal guitar and am soon going to learn the piano. I
got into electronics and musical synthesis about 8 or 9 months ago both
because I needed something different to do for a while that used my hands
to make things. In addition, the algorithms for musical generation and
synthesis are nearby artificial intelligence mathematics, in which I'm
insanely interested.  I also want to make good music too.
