I'm 48.

I got turned on to Electronotes in 1979 before my first synthesizer
purchase, through an old fashioned postal mailing list devoted to
progressive and electronic music.  This revitalized a post-high school
interest in electrical engineering.

My first synth was an Octave Cat SRM in July 1980.

I worked one year at Kurzweil alongside Bob Chidlaw and Hal Chamberlin.  I
had to leave because the wife hated Massachusetts (we hit the 100 year
winter of 1995-1996, 12 feet of snow).

I favor modular synthesis and have one or two interesting projects in the
works...
