Trouble resolved.....  this part anyway... there's more to test :-p


So I started checking to see if my switches were toast b/c I was a bit
abusive on them when soldering the flying wires. I realize now I press
too hard sometimes. Anyway, through testing continuity with a good,
unused switch, and the mounted switch, I figured out that Lug 2 is
what's getting switched here, and that I had my power lead soldered to
lug 1, when it should have been 2.....   doh!

I have LED's on now :)

This is a great community to be involved in. Thanks for helping out
someone who's learning the ropes. Putting the kit together is the easy
part, it's the troubleshooting part that I'm completely lost at.
Hopefully this was my only issue.
