I know a while ago we talked about these a little bit. I was moderately 
interested, but I didn't really look deeply enough to see if I could do up 
one of my own. Now I've watched a few demos and I'm coming into a fair 
amount of used but suitably newish PC equipment that I really want to make 
one or two. What a party piece!

I can't seem to find all the right sites to get started building up a 
system. Pointers?

I'm guessing I need a PC and a monitor and a video camera, but will a webcam 
type camera work?
