[sdiy] MM5837N noise generator... any for sale ? alternatives ?

The MM5837N sucks as bad as any BBD (imho). It has a 1.1
second repeat rate and goes tick-tick-tick. I can't believe they
even considered it.

I have a retrofit design that is MUCH better and can be cabled in...
but it uses the CD4006 shift registers... also hard to get. Someone
on this list has some. I could send you the artwork and you could make
one... its a MASSIVE improvement and it engages both the audio and control
circuits perfectly.

otoh I think I have the MM5837N that I removed from the P5.  Contact offlist
if interested :^P
