There's a 14-month-old that likes to come around here from time to time (see 
http://mysite.verizon.net/rtellason/lildude.html for a pic and a bit of the 
story) and he doesn't know the meaning of fear at all yet,  and is just 
beginning to get the idea of the meaning of the word "no".  It should get 
real interesting the next time I have a hot soldering iron happening.  It was 
amazing to watch the look on his face when I had the back off the TV the 
other day -- as in "Whoa!  There's another _place_ in there!?"  :-)
