[sdiy] OT: Akai MPC4000 encoder

Hi,

I have a MPC4000 with a non working encoder, anyone here have any experience with them?
The encoder isn't the usual ALPS-type and googling it gives no clues. It is marked "B25C 2 8 N" "6 COPAL 1"
The actual encoder has 6 pins but only four are connected to the cabel that runs to the main pcb.
I measure 5V and GND on two lines but the other two lies at a constandt 5V regardelss of how I turn the shaft, I guess they should be two out of phase squarewaves?
